For us, cycling is about great emotions. That’s why we are proud to have created a design that supports the legendary Aarhus Cycle Track and, most importantly, pays tribute to Jørgen Leth at the final race ever held at the track: Jørgen Leth’s Honorary Race. As the quote on the Cikkel Copenhagen jersey says, it was precisely here at the cycle track that Jørgen Leth’s love for cycling was ignited.

Poem(in Danish) by Bastian Emil to Jørgen Leths Tribute race
We asked cycling and Jørgen Leth fans to express what Leth has meant to them. We gave all the heartfelt words to author Bastian Emil Goldschmidt, who transformed them into a respectful public tribute, which was played at the Honorary Race. Cikkel Copenhagen had the pleasure of presenting the tribute to Jørgen Leth, who received several minutes of standing ovation from the audience.
