Cikkel Copenhagen is proud to present our latest tribute design to a true cycling legend:
Michael Mørkøv
His trophy cabinet speaks volumes with piles of Olympic, World Championship, European Championship, and National Championship medals, as well as induction into the Sports Hall of Fame.
Not least, his role as the world's best lead-out rider has cemented Mørkøv's status in cycling, where he has fearlessly paved the way to victory for the World Tour peloton's world-class sprinters.
The lead-out philosophy is not just about cycling. It's a way of life. To lead, to pave the way and give everything – for the team! The collection celebrates the many who choose to put the team before the individual every day.

The role as lead-out rider is precisely what inspired the name of Cikkel Copenhagen's tribute collection, which we call LEADout BY EXAMPLE. Mørkøv is known for always taking the lead and setting a good example - both on the team, in the peloton, and now in his new role as national coach for the Danish road cyclists.
Our design speaks for itself. In the lead is the lead-out rider, dressed in red as a tribute to Mørkøv in the Danish national jersey. On the left side of the chest, the text LEADout BY EXAMPLE is prominently displayed, inspired by Mørkøv's quote: "Remember to put your heart into everything you do.” Respect to Michael Mørkøv for an amazing career and his status as a role model for future generations.
Cikkel Copenhagen is built on a love for cycling culture and the people who live it. This collection is our tribute to all lead-out riders — from professionals to local clubs. You don't need to win to lead the way.

That's why this particular Argon 18 is the subject of the latest addition to our series of design posters celebrating legendary bikes of legends.
