Cikkel Copenhagen is proud to present our latest tribute design to a true cycling legend: Michael Mørkøv.

His trophy cabinet speaks for itself, boasting stacks of Olympic, World Championship, European Championship, and National Championship medals, as well as induction into the Sports Hall of Fame.

Notably, the title of the world's best lead-out rider has helped cement Mørkøv's status in cycling, where he fearlessly paved the way to victory for the World Tour peloton's world-class sprinters.

It is precisely this role as a lead-out rider that inspired the name of Cikkel Copenhagen's tribute collection, which we call LEADout BY EXAMPLE. Mørkøv is known for always leading the way and setting a good example – both on the team, in the peloton, and now in his new role as national coach for the Danish road cyclists.

Our design speaks for itself. The lead-out rider is at the front, dressed in red as a tribute to Mørkøv in the Danish national jersey. On the left side of the chest, the text LEADout BY EXAMPLE is proudly placed, inspired by Mørkøv's quote: "Remember to put your heart into everything you do."

Respect to Michael Mørkøv for a fantastic career and his status as a role model for future generations.
