Team car Dauphine - T-Shirt Grey

The design of this t-shirt is inspired by the iconic Renault Dauphine Team France Assistance from the 1959 Tour de France. The hand-drawn illustration captures the details from a time when spare wheels, horns, and extra bikes were strapped to small French service cars making their way through mountain passes, cobblestones, and long stages.

The motif is the next design in Cikkel Copenhagen's series of classic Team Cars — a series dedicated to the iconic support vehicles that have been a part of cycling's visual history and stories from the road for decades.

The illustration was created by British illustrator and cycling enthusiast David Sparshott, who has with great precision reproduced the car's characteristic shapes and nostalgic expression.
